Fire

Hello all.

I thought that today I would use my blog to say a big thank you to our local retained firemen.

I always understood their value to our community but it's not until you have the reality of a situation like I just had this week that you fully appreciate the great work they do when called upon. We had a serious fire at the shop this week that did a great deal of damage but without these guys and their speedy response it would have been much worse.

So once again thanks to you all, and the police, and all the locals for their best wishes. Although at the time, because of the situation, you cannot acknowledge them, I do now. It goes a long way to have such genuine support.
