Now the person who informed me of this knows who they are but I thought I would float this about to see who else might remember this person.
Those of us that attended the old infants school in Greys Road (now a housing estate) and there were many of us (see old Henley infants school photo in earlier blog) but I have to confess I do not personally recall this particular person. Apparently he stood in the alleyway between the Bird in Hand and the cottages selling sweets!! So, please if you also have any of these memories please let me know.
The source is very reliable so there must be others?
