Dead Man's Hole

Now those of you who live locally and were born and bought up in Henley would remember this place. Now who can confirm where it is? We used to play there as kids and I have fond memories and I am sure others do to.

Now we know it was called that but why? Was it something made up by our predecessors or by us. I never did know. Perhaps some one could help.

What I do know without giving its location away is that when you looked at it (the trees) from a certain view point it was like the outline of a person lying on their back. You know, the sort of view where you see Gulliver tied down.

I don't think I am making it up but confirmation of this place's existence would be nice.
