River Works

Here we go...after all these road works....

I heard a rumour in the shop (you must understand that I hear many rumours).

Stage 27 of the ongoing roadworks...

They / them, as rumour goes, want to move the river 62 inches towards the Oxfordshire bank.

Is this true? Can anyone confirm? Could it be the first step to build the new bridge across the Thames to come out onto Fair Mile?

Would be a great vantage point to watch the rowers go under a bridge on the Regatta course!!
