Driving in the morning always prompts my memory and the changes I have seen in my life and I encourage others to share their memories and photos (Don't forget you can scan and send them to us with, of course, a full tribute to your contribution).
I was passing the shops at Wooton Manor where I started my first part time job in, the then, supermarket delivering goods business on a basket bike. You know, the one that featured in Open All Hours!! It's now a One Stop shop? Anyway, I recalled the dutch barn that was there before any buildings took place at Wooton Manor and King James Way. I remembered the catle crossing the road where the roundabout is now. Yes, a mud patch indeed. You did not see than many cars go past. I'm not sure what year that would be but guess it was late 50s to early 60s.
Perhaps one of you could let us know?
