On my morning constitution with the "mutt" it bought to mind in these weather conditions the sort of interesting birds that are being drawn by the warmer climes of the UK.
I noticed one of the largest amounts of Lapwings I have seen in years. Also Redwings or Winter Thrushes, as they are sometimes called.
